In this article, we will break down all you need to know about being a KippaPay agent, and using your KippaPay POS so that you are well-equipped to run your business smoothly.

You and your terminal

There are 2 types of POS terminals you KippaPay offers, the KippaPay GO and KippaPay Maxi

KippaPay GO: This Linux terminal is strong and easy to use. This terminal is used with the KippaPay app to perform all KippaPay services seamlessly.

KippaPay Maxi: This Android terminal is portable and has the KippaPay app in-built.

Getting the most from your KippaPay app.

Your KippaPay app has all you need to make your experience seamless, let’s walk you through some cool tools you do not want to miss.

Help & Support: This is where you can reach for assistance from our customer support team who are available to assist you 24/7. We also have simple FAQs you can read up on to enable you to access easy self-service anytime.

Disputes: This function is located in the account section of your app and it helps you keep track of our dispute resolution progress. You’ll be able to see if a dispute has been resolved or is still pending. If a dispute has been marked as resolved but you are not satisfied with the resolution, you can go ahead to contact support.

Add terminal: As you make more money, it’s natural to think about expansion. With this function located in the account section of your app, you can request as many terminals as you want and we will bring them to you.

Transactions: In this section of your app, you can view your entire transaction and wallet history. You can choose to see your transactions within a specific time frame like the last 30 days, 7 days, or any custom duration of your choice.

Accounts: The account section is where all your personal and business information is stored. You can also review your verification status and change your pins & password. This is where to go when you want to adjust settings or your account information.

In order to keep your terminal safe, make sure that you set a strong transaction pin and that you never share your pin with anyone.

Managing your transactions

Make more money: Do you want to make more money? The key is to make more transactions. We work hard every day to give you the most reliable network so that you never miss a chance to make money.

Fund your wallet: To start processing transactions, you will be required to fund your KippaPay wallet. This is a unique virtual wallet that exists for your business on the KippaPay App. Once you fund your wallet, your wallet balance will be updated within 5 minutes and you can start transacting.

Commissions & settlement: All your commissions are settled into your account instantly and you can find your commission balance on your home screen. To withdraw your commission, all you have to do is click on the withdraw arrow and enter the amount you wish to withdraw, your withdrawal will be processed within one hour.

Transaction limit: As a new KippaPay agent, your account will be placed on a Tier II transaction limit which allows you to make a maximum transaction amount of N200,000 per time and N1 million per day.

To increase your limit per transaction to N500,000, all you have to do is contact the KippaPay officer who onboarded you or reach out to us via any of our customer support channels.

KippaPay Pricing

See the breakdown of our charges and agent commissions below. Please note that these charges & commissions are subject to review and change whenever necessary.

Withdrawal Charges: 0.55% of the transaction amount for transactions within N100 - N19,999 and N100 for transactions from N20,000 & above

Transfer charges: N25 flat on every transfer transaction

Agent commission: Ranges from 0.1% - 2.5% (Charge is service dependent)

Agent commission on account opening: Agent commissions are earned per account opened and rates vary from Bank to Bank.

How long does a reversal take to happen?

Reversals will reflect in your account within 24 hours. Wallet debit reversals happen in a few minutes.

Do transactions reflect in real-time?

Yes, both cash deposit and cash withdrawal transactions reflect in real-time.
