Dominion Supermarket in Benin is Tracking Fraudulent Activities In His Business Using Kippa.

SUPERMARKET

noun

/ˈsuː.pəˌmɑː.kɪt/

A large self-service store that sells groceries and, usually, medications, household goods, and/or clothing.

Growing up, the Nigerian in me never ever let me buy the items I needed from the supermarket because I felt like they were too pricey. But thanks to Covid-19, everything I buy these days, I buy from a supermarket. A huge plus is that it's less stressful and some even offer the range of products I can get at a market. It's also not so much more expensive so how exactly do supermarket owners make money?  I decided to have a chat with a Supermarket owner, Collins Odiase to share some insight on how he runs his business And How He Manages to Track Fraudulent activities.

What is your name and what do you do?

Collins Johnbull Odiase is my name and I am a Supermarket Manager.

What kind of business do you own and what location?

I run a supermarket, we sell a variety of products ranging from food items (provisions) to cosmetics products. We also manage a payment utility section for Cable TV subscriptions and as well run a POS banking system for the convenience of our customers.

The name of my business is Dominion Nigeria Enterprise and we are located at Kilometers 12, Benin Lagos Expressway. Opp. the Army school of transport and supply. Benin City.

How is business going?

Business is flourishing, with the help from all my employees and Kippa helping me manage fraudulent activities. The business has never been better.

What is your role in your company?

My focus throughout the day is how to make my customers satisfied, I monitor the Fraudulent activities in the store through CCTV and I’m also in charge of keeping track of the storage; I keep records of anything that goes in or out of the store.

Tell us what comes to mind when you think of the Kippa App?

My record and expenses calculator that balances my books with ease

What made you start using the app?

I needed an app that didn’t have the deficiencies the previous ones I used had and the Bookkeeping app didn’t have the issues this other app gave me. The major issue was that my former app was just too complicated for me to understand.

I started using the Simple Finance Management app and I could calculate my sales and expenses very easily and quickly.

How did the Kippa app help you with managing your finances/accounts?

Now with the Bookkeeping app, I don’t have to bother myself with record-keeping that we did on notebooks before. If my employees record the sales and expenses accurately on their side and it’s different from what I have on Small Business Accounting Management App, it’s a sign of fraudulent activities. So it’s easy to catch anyone trying to mess with the accounts with Kippa.

I am also able to determine all my sales from the beginning of the month to the end.

Have you told anyone else about Kippa?

I told a friend about it a few weeks ago, he is about to start his own small business and I told him the best app for him to use to manage his finances & Track Fraudulent Activities.

Did he join the app?

His business venture is still in the works, but he is already looking into it.

What would you say is your best feature in the app and what do you like about it?

I find it so convenient that I can use one account on several devices without OTP problems like other Softwares I’ve used in the past & available on Playstore or App Store.

Wherever you are you can monitor all the activities in your Line of work with ease.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned about your money or Line of work since you started using IT?

That I can manage my finances easier with Kippa.

Final question. What advice would you give to any Line of work that just started using Kippa?

I would advise that they continue to use it, it helps you monitor your suppliers, inventory, etc. I think it’s great Software and other SMEs should really consider it.
