What's Happening?
We recently released an update on KippaPay that changes how you log into your KippaPay mobile app and your terminal.
For your mobile app, a valid login can only be made with your business number.
For your terminal, a valid login can only be made with your terminal number.
As a result, you may see error messages when you attempt to log in without following the above guidelines. Below, we have carefully explained how to resolve the error messages for both your KippaPay mobile app and terminal.
Login Error on KippaPay Mobile App
Error- Request not honoured. Use our device/app to access this service. If you are using our device/ app, please update your app to the latest version
Resolution-
1) Click on Unlock Device
2) Take a selfie and fill out the provided form
3) Send an email to compliance@kippa.africa with your business number and "UNLOCK DEVICE" as the subject
Login Error on KippaPay Terminal
If you are seeing any of the error messages contained below, please follow the steps contained in the resolution section to fix it immediately.
Error- New Device Detected
Resolution- Please reach out to customer.support@kippa.africa with your terminal number and "UNLOCK DEVICE" as the subject.
